Frequently Asked Questions

Semaglutide is a GLP-1 receptor agonist used to support both weight management and blood sugar control. It mimics a naturally occurring hormone that regulates appetite and insulin activity.

FrontCare partners with a licensed pharmacy operating under Section 503A of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act. This framework allows for the compounding of medications such as Semaglutide and Tirzepatide when specific formulations are needed and not available commercially. These compounded treatments may be tailored to individual patient needs—whether through customized dosing, alternative delivery methods, or adjustments for sensitivities to standard ingredients.

No, FrontCare does not offer any salt-based form of Semaglutide.

Your order will include a vial of the medication, instructional materials and insulin needles.

Store your medication exactly as the pharmacy label tells you. The label that comes with your medication is the authority — storage requirements differ by medication, by formulation and by the pharmacy that prepared it.

To qualify for Semaglutide based treatment through FrontCare, you must meet the following criteria:

Age & Residency: You must be at least 18 years old and reside in—or be physically present in—a state where our services are available.
Medical Necessity: You must demonstrate a medical need for treatment. If required, our team can help coordinate recent lab results at your provider’s request.
Approved Criteria: Eligibility for weight management treatment is assessed by your provider and includes clinical criteria such as BMI. Other FrontCare categories have their own criteria. Your provider decides what is appropriate for you.
Medical Exclusions: You may not qualify if you have type 1 diabetes, chronic pancreatitis or medication-induced pancreatitis (GLP-1 related), severe gastrointestinal disease, current gallbladder problems (except post-removal), retinal impairment/diabetic retinopathy, recent bariatric surgery, multiple endocrine neoplasia syndrome type 2 (MEN2), or a history of medullary thyroid cancer.
Pregnancy & Nursing: You should not be pregnant or breastfeeding. Your eligibility will ultimately be determined by a licensed FrontCare healthcare provider, who may request additional details or medical documentation to ensure safe and appropriate care.

To ensure proper administration and patient safety, adhere strictly to the directions given by your healthcare provider and the accompanying medication guidelines.

FrontCare partners with Pharmacies that may compound Semaglutide and Tirzepatide formulations with Vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin). This essential nutrient plays a critical role in energy metabolism and overall health, enhancing the therapeutic benefits of treatment and making these compounded options distinct from standard commercially available alternatives.

Vitamin B12 belongs to a group of molecules called cobalamins, which include hydroxocobalamin, adenosylcobalamin, and cyanocobalamin. Each contains cobalt at its core; when cobalt interacts with water, its salts form a pink-colored solution, known as a metal aquo complex.

All compounded medications are prepared in compliance with Section 503A of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, ensuring patient-specific formulations that meet high standards of safety and care.

  • Yes, while a medical professional will review your profile before prescribing GLP-1 + B12, it’s crucial to consult your primary care provider, who is familiar with your full medical history, to ensure comprehensive and personalized care. Your doctor can provide insights into your overall health that might not be available through our service.

It will depend on your dosing schedule and purchase.

The protocol varies based on the prescribed tier. Always follow the dosage instructions provided by your doctor, which are included with your medication. Your medical provider will give you specific dosing instructions and protocols.

Your medication may arrive with or without a cold pack depending on which pharmacy prepared it; this is normal. Store your medication exactly as the pharmacy label tells you — the label that comes with your medication is the authority, because storage requirements differ by medication, by formulation and by the pharmacy that prepared it. If your medication looks cloudy, discoloured or crystallised, do not use it and contact us at support@frontcare.com.
